Bah Humbug!

Well, my Mom went to visit Simba and his family for the holidays and all I got was a couple of rattly toys to play with and some friends to come over for a few minutes each day and dump crunchies in my bowl and scoop my litter box. I was very lonely. I have been very needy and snuggly since my Mom returned.

Happy 2007 to everyone. I hope the New Year brings you all a never-ending mountain of crunchies, and a cozy bed to cuddle in, and a wonderful human to take care of you.

Flossie.

Flossie is my first cousin once removed. Or something like that--by adoption, anyway.

She is sick and had to have an operation today for bladder stones. Please say a prayer for her to get better. I wish I could be there with her to give her purrs and snuggles.

She is home from the animal hospital, but with a tube in her bladder to allow her to go to the bathroom, because she couldn't go on her own. Her Mom has to empty it with a syringe every few hours. My Mom and I are both very sad and wish we could be there to snuggle with Flossie.

Flossie is doing better, finally. I am so glad, I can't stop purring.

Babies!!

No, not mine, silly. I had that operation when I was very young. It's the cheetahs at our nearby zoo that had little fluffballs.
