God bless me.

After all the trauma at the vet last week, I recovered for a day or two, and now I seem to have been infected with some sort of upper respiratory virus (probably at the vet's office from that cat on the leash). I have been sneezing and my eyes are all watery and although I don't seem to have a fever, I am definitely not my usual perky self.

Sniffle.

  • Audrey, the most pathetic sound in the world is your efforts at purring with a snotty nose. You are trying so hard to be sweet and positive. Or maybe you were just angling for more food, I don't know. Hang in there and feel better soon, my princess.

  • I feel so badly for you, Audrey. All the indignities you had to endure with the shots and the ear medicine and now THIS. It kinda reminds me of what happens often when a person takes their car in for repair to a (not too reputable) mechanic, and lo and behold, one thing gets fixed and shortly after that, another thing goes wrong!
    Tell your Mom she should phone the vet but try not to have to take you back there again!

  • Thank you, everyone, for your kind wishes.

    I have recovered, mostly, and I am back to my usual schedule of sleeping, eating, grooming, massages, etc. I have received plenty of sympathy and in fact several visitors have also stopped by to check on me over the past few days.

    As for ever going back to the doctor, just try to put me in that carrier again, Mom.... just try!!!
