Coolish weather...finally.

The weather has turned cool enough for my Mom to open the windows. I love sitting in the window and watching what is going on outside. There are lots of trees, birds, cars, and people.

I can't wait for fall and time to start growing my fur coat thicker again!

Happy Birthday to my "uncle."

To celebrate, I will be .....

eating.

And maybe even playing with a ribbon or two.

Stripey chair and ottoman.

This is my new favorite resting spot. It is close to the door so I can be certain to hear if anyone is coming or going. It is underneath the A/C duct to keep me cool since it has been so HOT lately.

My Granny is visiting and she took this picture of me. She and my Mom have been doing lots of stuff and leaving me at home to watch over things. I think they said "Chihuly" and "Modesto" and "Macy's".

And I'm always happy to have another person around to feed me and pet me!

Granny, I will miss you when you leave.

A backyard!

Mommy has been promising me a house with a yard for years. She keeps putting it off and even tried getting me a stupid sister instead, when all I really wanted was to run around and chase birdies and chipmunks like Boykie.

But finally, it might be happening. I will keep you posted.

My extended family.

My Mom was reading the other day about cheetahs, which are extremely endangered. They tend to live alone (like Moi), and make all the same kinds of noises that I do... chirps and when they are content, very loud purrs.

There were two litters of cheetah cubs born recently at the National Zoo in Washington, D.C. but some of them are old enough now that they had to leave their Moms and go to live at other zoos. I'm glad I don't have to leave my Mom (I know she isn't my real Mom, but still...).

I think it's pretty cool to have such a gorgeous extended family.

Shout-outs to some of my other feline friends (even if I haven't met them yet, my Mom has): Asiah (I'll forgive you for being a little upset when you came over to visit), Ginger, Lucy, Terrence and Persimmon (hope you guys like your new house!), Chief and Cocoa (I love to go over and sit outside your door).

And, of course, Fluffy and Tiny (I miss you... at least a little).
